Evaluation of Integrated Benefit of Water Saving Agriculture in Semi-arid and Anti-drought Irrigating Region of Northeast China

The water-saving agricultural development in arid and semi-arid anti-drought irrigation region depends on water resources,entironment and social factors.The projection pursuit evaluation model (PPE)was established on integrated benefits of water saving in agriculture.By applying PPE model based on realcoded accelerating genetic algorithm (RAGA) in the irrigation schemes,the authors turned multi-dimension data into low dimension space.So the optimum projection direction can stand for the best influence to the collectivity.Thus,the value of projection function can evaluate each item good or not.The PPE model can avoid jamming of weight matrix.The model was applied to evaluate integrated benefits for arid and semi-arid anti-drought irrigation areas in Northeast China.The model can evaluate the grade of integrated benefits on integration technology and single technology (spray irrigation).The results demonstrated that the integrated benefits of integration technology were the first grade and spray irrigation was the second.
