Difference of Environmental Assessment for Land Use Planning between China and European Union
Environmental Impact Assessment of Land use planning is an important tool for making more rational land use planning, realizing sustainable land use planning and promoting regional sustainable development. According to the analysis of problem when referring to the experience of European Union in the procession of making environmental impact assessment for land use planning, the difference of Environmental Impact Assessment of Land use planning between China and European Union is analyzed. At last, four measures of making Environmental Impact Assessment of Land use planning with Chinese characteristics are put forward, including to set up Environmental Impact Assessment system for Land use planning, to distinguish the content of land use planning and Environmental Impact Assessment for Land use planning, the methodology of plan-based should be adopted in Environmental Impact Assessment for land use planning, to enhance collaboration of different subjects and departments. Besides, public participation is also important.
