Experimental Study of Humidity Measurement and Humidity Field Based on Environmental Chamber

Environmental chamber is widely used as the testing equipment simulating the all kinds of natural ambient parameters,which may provide needed certain temperature and humidity to test the performance of the equipment to be tested.Therefore,it is widely used for the fields of national defense,electricity,electronic,and material etc.The experimental study of humidity field is carried out.The influence of the different methods on the measuring result,the uniformity and time characteristic of humidity field et.al are mainly discussed.The result of measuring method test shows it is feasible to measure humidity using dry/wet bulb thermocouple method,and it is not only convenience,but also accurate.The experimental result of humidity field shows: (1) Compared with the inlet air condition,absolute deviation of RH between the point 5,12,and 7 are higher.(2) As the increase of temperature,RH fluctuation at each point will decrease with the time,i.e.the RH stability at each point will be better if the inlet air temperature is higher (3) Under the condition of inlet air with low-humidity,the deviation of average RH is lower at higher inlet temperature;the deviation of average RH is higher at lower inlet temperature.On the contrary,under the condition of inlet air with high-humidity,the deviation of average RH is higher at higher inlet temperature;the deviation of average RH is lower at lower inlet temperature.(4) Under the condition of the inlet air with low-humidity,the RH uniformity at the measuring points is worse,i.e.compared with the mean value,the fluctuation for the humidity of each point is higher,and the RH at the measuring point is near the value of inlet air humidity.Under the condition of the inlet air with high-humidity,the uniformity at measuring points is better,but the deviation of RH between the measuring point and the inlet air is higher.
