Experimental Study on the Performance of a High Temperature Heat Pump Using R134a as the Refrigerant
Experiments were conducted to study the performance of a high temperature heat pump utilizing R134a as the refrigerant under different working conditions of variable inflow water temperature,flow rate and evaporation temperature.An oil cooling system was added to the high temperature heat pump unit to decrease the discharge temperature of the compressor in high temperature conditions.The results show that the outlet water temperature of the heat pump could easily get to 85℃.The oil cooling system can decrease the discharge temperature of the compressor and improve the performance of the heat pump in high temperature conditions.
