Investigation of Sliding Wear Resistance on Hermetic Compressor

Wearing behavior on the surfaces between the nitro-carburizing coated piston and cast iron cylinder compose hermetic compressor using the ball-joint drive type,a representative economical model in the market were dominated by the loading force and the associated revolution.The manganese phosphate treatment before movement contributed to conserve the longer life of compressor components by means of particular porous geometry and unique property of quick adaptation in the sliding process positively.Diffused nitro-carburizing treatment in the mild steel induced the sufficient hardness to endure for the wearing behavior.Specific characteristics of pre-treatment and coatings showed the different effect than before for the improvement of compressor efficiency and reliability.
