Study on face control technology of fault isolated island pillar

Under the special condition of high-stress isolated island pillar and 6.6m high seam and roof cut by fault extending 1000m along advance direction of the face 2123 in Shigejie Coal Mine,pressure behavior and fault disturbance in the face 2123 is observed and researched,and adaptability of light top-coal caving powered support for the fault isolated island pillar face is analyzed.The fault isolated island pillar is successfully recovered and safe and steady production is realized.The similar working condition can use for reference.
