Numerical simulation research on shear stress of anchoring interface of rock mass

The tension load of bolt is delivered by the shear stress in bonding interface in anchorage engineering.People,for the simple calculation,usually assume that the distribution of shear stress delivered from bolt to bond and rock is uniform.However,the stress along the axial direction is extremely uneven.In the paper,element structure model of bolt is built according to the relation between bolt and bond (or rock mass).With the usage of FEM software ANSYS,the shear stress distribution of the anchoring interface in anchored rock mass is simulated.The simulation result shows that the shear stress distribution of bonding interface is consistent to the one in engineering.So the model built in the paper can reflect the stress condition of the bolt in engineering well.The stress distribution of anchored rock mass,in conditions including changing loads,rock mechanical property,is also simulated according to project conditions.The results indicate that the stress along the axial direction is extremely uneven;the shear stress near the outside is large.The shear stress attenuates sharply along the axial direction.The stress distribution of bonding interface is interrelated nearly to the mechanical property of the rock mass.
