Research on the conditions of rock burst occurrence in the coal mass of roadway rib
The rock burst occurrence is simulated by the numeric calculation method,so the stress variation,destructive process,and acoustic emission evolvement in coal mass are showed.Influence of different loading rate on the rock burst occurrence is studied,and it is known that under the condition of different loading rate,with the increase in the loading rate,the released energy is more intensive,so the danger of rock burst is larger.With the increase of coal mass thickness,the coal mass gradually releases energy,so the danger of rock burst greatly decreases.Influence of different coal mass strength on the rock burst occurrence is also studied,and it is known that with the increase of coal mass strength,the stress that rock burst occurrence needed is higher,and the energy released during rock burst occurrence is larger,so the hazard of rock burst is more serious.The rock burst occurrence conditions of coal mass of roadway rib are decided by the above studies,which are successfully applied in the prediction and prevetion of rock burst on some mine.Furthermore,this method can be used to study other types of rock bust,coal and gas outburst.
