Numerical simulation about forming mechanism of water fractured zone for singleness sub-level caving mining
After coal seams being mined,strata around goaf will deform,displace and fail.With rock failure process analysis RFPA2D system,the numerical simulation reproduces the whole progressive process of the overlying strata caused by mining excavation.By analysis of the analog result,the distributional characteristics,the stress distribution and the distortional characteristics of the water fractured zone and the causation that earths surface cracks are educed,thus the failure mechanism of the overlying strata and the forming mechanism of the water fractured zone for the singleness sub-level caving mining are obtained,which indicates the laws of the failure of the overlying strata caused by mining excavation.
