The main purpose of this paper is to simulate the dynamic characteristics of overburden movement and bed separation developing T2192 working face of Tang Shan colliery by ANSYS plane model.For Tang Shan colliery,the relationship between working face advance distance and subsidence was presented when 260m,360m,460m and 560m were mined in T2192 working face.According to the curves of subsidence and stress in the roof and floor were obtained when the different mining distances,it made conclusions that subsidence and bed separations began to emerge with working face advancing 260 m.When working face advancing 460m,the bed separation was the maximum to happen and the compression stress of the working face reached the maximum value.The effects of working face advance distance on bed separations of overburden and mining subsidence is a key factor.The results indicated that the numerical simulation has instructive meaning for studying the deep mining and controlling disaster in Kai Luan coalfield.
