Experimental study of gas explosion induced coal dust explosion
This paper presents an experimental study of coal dust deposition rise and explosion induced by gas explosion in an experimental laneway.The study conducted various laneway gas and coal-dust explosion experiments,recorded the real time pressure data at several locations,compared and analyzed the data,and revealed the propagation mechanisms of mixed gas and coal dust explosions.The study showed that mixed gas and coal dust explosion produces pressure waves with significantly higher pressure peak,longer duration time,and longer propagation distances.
