Study on permeating airflow law in broken ores/rocks in caved stopes
A numerical analysis is developed to analyze the hydraulic permeability of the saturated porous medium in broken ores/rocks.The porosity and permeability of the rocks are assumed to vary exponentially with distance. The mathematical model is established based on Darcys law and the theory of heat and mass transfer. This model, solved by separately integrating two linearly independent integrals, can give the solutions of stream function and velocity distribution by applying numerical simulation. It is concluded that the rate and range of flow under real conditions are less than that under ideal conditions. The results of this analysis and model can be also used in tunnel safety and another underground engineering.
