BEHAVIOR OF CONCRETE FILLED STEEL CUBULAR FRAME IN FIRE

This paper is mainly about the research conclusion of fire resistance of concrete filled steel tubular(CFST) columns in frame on the base of primary research. The structure model in this paper is comprised by CFST columns and steel beams with Ⅰ sections. The fire imitated in this test is obtained from ISO-834 standard fire. This paper calculates tens of fire resistant time of the columns in different size frames and the single columns with corresponding identical initial load by using nonlinear finite element method. Comparing the two kinds of fire resistance this paper finds the regularity of the elevated fire resistant time. Illustrate the integral behavior of concrete filled steel tubular frames elevates the fire resistance of the CFST columns. Give an approximate equation from the calculative result. The result in this paper can amend the design method in current code to make the fire resistant structure more appropriate and reliable.
