FLEXURAL CAPACITY CALCULATION OF SRHSHPC COLUMNS WITH ECCENTRIC COMPRESSION LOADING
Based on experimental investigation for 4 SRHSHPC (steel reinforced high strength and high performance concrete) composite columns with eccentric compression loading, the loading performance of the SRHSHPC composite columns is studied. The stress-strain developing process for identifying the stress distribution of steel and concrete in column section is tested in loading procedure. Furthermore, capacity character and failure model for the SRHSHPC composite columns are analyzed, and the main factors which affect bearing capacity of columns are discussed, based on generalizing some calculation theories for flexural capacity of steel reinforced concrete columns, the Ns-Ms relation curves for the shaped steel in the SRHSHPC composite columns with eccentric compression loading are attained by applying plastic theory, and the Nrc-Mrc relation curves for the reinforced high strength and high performance concrete can be attained too by employing assumption for the relation between ultimate compression strain of concrete and load eccentricity. Furthermore,accumulating the Ns-Ms relation curves to the Nrc-Mrc relation curves, the calculation method for the flexural capacity of the SRHSHPC composite columns based on maximum accumulation strength is established. The test and analysis results indicate that the loading performance of the SRHSHPC composite columns with eccentric compression loading is excellent, and the calculation values by the accumulation strength method agrees with experimental results well, which support loading performance research and design method for the SRHSHPC composite structure.
