DYNAMIC RESPONSES OF LONG-SPAN CONTINUOUS RIGID FRAME BRIDGE SUBJECTED TO RUNNING HIGHWAY VEHICLES
Vibration coupling theory and analysis model of highway bridge-vehicles are presented in this paper. The motion equations of vehicles and bridge are established respectively and a separated iterative procedure is presented to solving the equations of vehicle-bridge system. A compute program HBVIS for highway bridge-vehicle interaction system is developed. A 20m-span simple supported girder bridge, as a numerical example, was presented with a reasonable result and optimized to show the efficiency of the method. The vehicle/bridge dynamic responses of a continuous rigid frame bridge under different road roughness level conditions were analyzed. The influence of road roughness on vehicle/bridge dynamic responses is studied in detail. The studied results can provide a certain scientific basis for dynamic analysis of the long-span continuous rigid frame bridge.
