CHARACTERISTICS OF WIND-INDUCED RESPONSES FOR BEIJING NATIONAL STADIUM
Three components of wind-induced responses, the mean response, background response and resonant response, are analyzed for Beijing National Stadium (BJNS) in this paper. The mode energy participation coefficients for background component, resonant component and mode response are presented. The characteristics of wind-induced responses for Beijing National Stadium are investigated. The background responses of BJNS roof prevail against the resonant responses and the mode coupling effect of resonant responses is weak while that of background responses is much strong.
