WIND TUNNEL NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON 1000MW AIR COOLED SUPPORT STRUCTURE UNDER DIFFERENT WIND-BREAK WALL FORMS

Air cooled condenser support structure in large thermal power plant is a new special industrial structure. It is a typical steel-concrete vertical hybrid structure. The surface wind load of the structure is simulated with FLUENT-one of CFD software. Wind pressure law on A shape support structure and wind-break wall under different wind-break wall forms and at different wind direction angles is studied. Airflow direction at the top of A shape support structure under different wind-break wall forms is analyzed. Every section shape coefficient of wind-break wall and A shape support structure under different conditions is obtained. According to the analysis results, shape coefficients of the wind-break wall and A shape structure under the most reasonable wind-break wall form are obtained. Some advice is presented based on the analysis results.
