TEST INVESTIGATION OF RC BEAM STRENGTHENED WITH CFRP UNDER QUADRATIC LOADS
At present the effect of the hysteretic strain value of CFRP and the cracks of the reintbrced concrete beams by CFRP due to the second loads has been often neglected on the strength value of CFRE According to 4 beams test results strengthened by CFRP, Thus, the strength value of CFRP and the actual bearing capacity of beams has been overestimated. Therefore, this paper gives the CFRP strength of reinforcing beams and gives the suitable strength value of CFRP after considering the stiffness of the beam and the cracks of the beams reinforced by CFRP. This research results can be a useful reference for engineers of the design and construction of the reinforcing RC beams.
