EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON BONDED BEHAVIOR BETWEEN GFRP AND CONCRETE AT GIVEN CONDITIONS
By double-shear test setup newly designed, the bonded behaviours between Glass Fibber reinforced Plastic (GFRP) and concrete was tested under two corrosion conditions (e.g. Carbonization,dry/wet cycles), and the effect of the conditions on the bonded behaviour between GFRP and concrete was measured. The result shows that carbonization causes the bonded strength depressing, dry/wetcycles have a bad influence on the bonded behaviour between GFRP and concrete. Wet-dry had an important influence of the epoxy applied in the test. Specimens subjected to wet-dry cycles showed higher failure-loads, and the degree with different epoxy is different.
