STUDY ON EVALUATING JUDGMENT METHOD FOR REINFORCEMENT OF EXISTING LEVEE BASED ON THE RISK ANALYSIS
On the basis of analysis for main failure modes of levees engineering, three main failure modes and theory calculation method of their failure probability are discussed in this paper. As an example, all kinds of probable failure routes of overtopping failure mode are analyzed thoroughly,and the evaluation and decision-making foundation for state of existing levee is set up. On the basis of actual position of existing levees, the relationship between the qualitative description for whether or not appearance of failure event and the quantitative failure probability is presented, and the nine probable failure links of existing levees is also presented. The relationship between qualitative description for all links and quantitative failure probability is further studied, and the expert experience and qualitative description for existing state of levee is transformed into a quantitative comprehensive failure probability in this paper. The idea of an evaluating method for failure consequences of existing levee and the analysis method for weights of all kinds of loss are also presented. On the basis of above, the calculation formula for risk index of existing levee and judgment mode for reinforcement of existing levees are all presented, and the calculated risk index can be used as a theory foundation for reinforcement judgment of existing levees.
