STUDY ON DIFFUSION PERFORMANCE OF CHLORIDE IONS IN EXISTING CONCRETE UNDER STRONG TIDAL ENVIRONMENT

Factors changes of nature environment and concrete self-performance have importance influence on the chloride ions erosion law; it is difficult to imitate the influence of nature environment in indoor experiment. The existing study result for chloride ions diffusion performance of existing concrete in nature chloride environment has demonstrated that chloride ions infiltration in surface concrete depends on the absorption of capillary and diffusion is the main action for inner infiltration of chloride ions. The studied existing concrete sluice of this paper is located the strong tidal estuary of the Qiantang River, according to the real infiltration depths and content of chloride ions in the pier concrete that have protective layers of sand grout and has been used to exceed 44 years, the diffusion law of chloride ions in the existing concrete is analyzed, and the diffusion coefficients of chloride ions and their randomness are all studied by the Fick diffusion equation. Study results demonstrate that the infiltration performance of chloride ions in the concrete has without the absorption of capillary and has only steady diffusion action under the condition of sand grout layers, and there is an increase trend along with depth in the diffusion coefficients with strong randomness.
