PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF VIBRATION REDUCING ON SPHERICAL LATTICE SHELL WITH BUCKLING-RESTRAINED BRACE
Single-layer Lattice shell with Buckling Restrained Braces is new type vibration reducing system. And its very important for safety of space structure. Nonlinear finite element method is applied to analysis sphere lattice shell in this paper, and preliminary study on vibration reducing performance of spherical lattice shell with BRB (Buckling Restrained Braces) has been done.During the course of the analysis, material nonlinearity is considered, and the perfect elastic-plastic model is adopted as the material model of steel. Software ANSYS has been used to analysis.Beam 188 unit is selected as structure member in the model and link8 unit is used to brace member based on the main performance of the BRB. The affect of damping has been got by doing researches on the structure with BRBs under rare earthquake, and get the best arrangement of BRBs to the structure of each earthquake action.
