RESEARCH ON SEISMIC REDUCTION OF THE SPHERICAL RETICULATED MEGA-STRUCTURE
Research on the seismic response of the spherical reticulated mega-structure under three-dimensional earthquake waves were conducted by time-history method. And the difference of seismic response of the structure equipped with dashpots or not is contrasted. Especially, the performances of seismic response of the structure equipped with vibration control system of viscoelastic dashpots are analyzed in detail, and effect of the different schemes of the dashpots is compared. The numerical results show that, under the action of the dashpots, the displacements and internal forces of the structure subjected to three-dimensional earthquake waves are reduced remarkably, so the performance of absorption of vibration of the scheme of dashpots presented in the paper is very effective, and this work will provide guide in theory for seismic design of this structure.
