EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON VERTICAL PROPERTIES OF A NEW KIND OF MULTI-DIMENSIONAL EARTHQUAKE ISOLATION AND MITIGATION DEVICE
Structural responses under single-dimensional and multi-dimensional earthquakes are different, especially for important and complex structures. In this paper, experimental study on vertical properties of a new kind of multi-dimensional earthquake isolation and mitigation device is carried out, at the same time, the equivalent stiffness, the equivalent damping and the dynamic mechanical properties with different frequencies and excitation amplitudes have been studied. It can be concluded from the experimental results that the device has fine earthquake isolation and mitigation ability. In addition, frequency and excitation amplitude will affect the performance of the device.
