MDOF SUBSTRUCTURE PSEUDODYNAMIC TESTING FOR COMPLEX TALL BUILDING
Substructure pseudodynamic testing is considered as the most available test method for complex tall building.But the PSD tested part of the testing structure is generally SDOF structure now.Substructure pseudodynamic testing method which the PSD tested part and the numerically operated part are both MDOF was studied. Seismic testing which the PSD tested part and the numerically operated part are both MDOF have been carded out on a new structure-Frame-supported reinforced masonry shear wall.The testing are cited to illustrate that the Substructure pseudodynamic testing which the PSD tested part adopted MDOF not only can obtain dynamic performance of the whole structure , but also allow the structure choose its own displacement and force distributions under the influence of earthquake excitation,and the testing method can obtain different story drift-story shear relations of different stories. Therefor, the substructure pseudodynamic testing which the PSD tested part and the numerically operated part are both MDOF was a more effective tool to investigate the seismic behaviour of complex tall building.
