EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON SEISMIC BEHAVIOR OF STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE L-SHAPED COLUMN
According to the experimental research on 4 specimens of steel reinforced concrete (SRC)L-shaped column under low cyclic reversed loading, the failure process and patterns were obtained.The failure characteristics, mechanical behaviors of SRC L-shaped column such as the loading -displacement hysteretic curves, bearing capacity, displacement ductility, rigidity degradation and energy dissipation are analyzed. The experimental study indicates that the major failure patterns of SRC L-shaped column (λ≥2.44) are flexural failure, when loading in project axis, the destruction mainly occurs in web, and loading in oblique direction, the destruction mainly occurs in corner. The hysteretic curves of SRC L-shaped column are unsymmetrical and plump. The specimens have good ductility and large rotation capacity, therefore has excellent seismic behavior.
