METHODS TO OPTIMIZE SENSOR PLACEMENT AT HIGH-RISE STRUCTURES BASED ON GRAY RELEVANCE ANALYSIS
For studies on structural dynamic response tests, a certain number of sensors shall be placed to collect relevant data. Therefore, it is very essential to increase the reliability and reduce costs of the test for optimizing sensors placement. Unlike empirical studies, this paper researches basical principles of grey relevant analysis, and then applies them into measuring correlation between elements, which identify the most favorable location for sensors in full-scale measurements. After literature review, the example of the beam structure is also used to explicit the practical application. And the results of the example show that increased reliability is an obvious merit of the new method.
