STIFFNESS RESEARCH OF MULTI-RIBBED COMPOSITE SLAB BASED ON COMPOSITE MATERIAL MODEL

Multi-ribbed slab structure (MRSS) is a new residential building structure characterized by low weight, saving energy and good aseismic performance. Multi-ribbed composite slab (MRCS) is one of main bearing members in MRSS. Its vital to research the stiffness of MRSS. But due to the complexity of constitute materials, MRCSs elastic constants are difficult to define. To solve this problem, this paper equals the MRCS to the orthotropic fiber-reinforced slab, according to the rule of the concrete content unchanged in wall section, and proposes the orthotropic fiber-reinforced composite model. For engineering practical application, the simplified calculation model is established. Theoretic analysis and experimental research show that the stiffness calculation values derived from the orthotropic composite slab model and simplified calculation model agree well with the experimental results, which mean that the composite model has certain theoretical basis and can meet the demand of engineering application.
