INVESTIGATION AND SIMULATION ANALYSIS OF CONCRETE DAMAGE OF ANCHORAGE ZONE BY BALL ANCHOR IN PRESTRESSED RC CORED SLABS OF CERTAIN BRIDGE
Based on the overall spot investigation on the damage state of anchorage system by ball anchor in the prestressed reinforced concrete cored slabs of a certain bridge, the concrete damage around the anchorage zone of prestressed ball anchor was classified and described. In order to obtain the structural stresses distribution of prestressed reinforced concrete cored slab under the prestress loads during the course of stretching, the stimulation analysis was made by means of Finite Elements Method. There were four bundles of prestress stranded wire in each reinforced concrete cored slab. It was indicated by the results of stimulation analysis that the stretching sequence affected the magnitude of concrete stress in anchorage zone very greatly. Under some disadvantage conditions, the bond between concrete and the ball end of stranded wire maybe become failure, meanwhile the weak pots of concrete around maybe crack. Meanwhile, the more stretching elongation, the non-homogeneous stress distribution and the broken wire of stranded wire took place. It turns out to be that the numerical simulation analytic solution was agreement with the construction records and the result of spot investigation. Some significant guiding conclusions were obtained based on the analysis results.
