RESEARCH STATUS AND PROSPECT OF COLD-FORMED STEEL PORTAL FRAME
Structure form and characteristic of cold-formed steel portal frame structure system was introduced. Authors reviewed the research status of home and abroad on cold-formed steel portal frame structure, including experiment research, theory analysis, structure simulation and implified analysis methods. Some research results were summarized, involving stable bearing capacity in integral condition, vertical stiffness and performance of semi-rigid joint. At the same time, the lack of the research on cold-formed steel portal frame structure system was pointed out. Finally, authors presented the trend of research on cold-formed steel portal frame structure system.
