FIBER MODEL METHOD TO CONCRETE-FILLED RECTANGULAR STEEL TUBES SUBJECTED TO PURE BENDING
Eight expansive concrete-filled rectangular steel tube beams subjected to pure bending were tested to investigate the pure flexurai behavior in this paper. Numerical analysis program was developed, which was applied for the analysis of flexural behavior of expansive concrete-filled rectangular steel robe beam subjected to pure bending. Compared with the experimental results, the analytical results are founded to agree well with the former. According to the experimental results, the evaluation of flexural capacity under pure bending condition was suggested. At last, compared with other kind of beam, expansive concrete-filled rectangular steel tube beam has the advantage of bearing capacity, deformation and using date of materials. The results in this paper may be referenced in practiced engineering.
