Multiple turn transmitting loop exciting field calculationand exciting effect analysis of NMR for underground water detecting

NMR(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) is an effective and direct way to detect the underground water. As the ordinary loop(100m*100m or 150m*150m) is so large that it leads to many limitation to survey area and causes a reduction of the NMR resolution. Multiple turn loop can improve the resolution of the NMR method and needs little area to locate the loop. The nearly fixed parameters of the multiple turn loop also improves the accuracy of the NMR detecting. With the multiple turn loop, we can realize certain depth water exciting under the ground that cant be excited by single turn loop with smaller loop size.The multiple turn loop exciting field calculation and exciting effect analysis is shown in the paper. The exciting field calculation of the multiple turn loop is first introduced and several different multiple turn loop with the same radius and different turns are listed. The magnetic induction value and tipping angle distribution of the section plane along with the loops diameter of these kind of multiple turn loops are given out. The relationship between turns and exciting depth with fixed diameter is also discussed.Finally, Some suggestions on the multiple turn loop exploration are brought forward for further study.
