Grey parameters solving method improvement of GM (1,1) model and its application in seacoast evolution forecast
The coastline configuration is under the influence of river runoff, sediment, ocean dynamic, and many other factors, these factors are difficult to quantify and express with a clear mathematical model. Now we attempt to investigate it by using the theory of grey modeling. This paper starts from the principle of equal interval grey GM(1,1) model, deduces the response expressions of whitenization model of unequal interval GM(1,1) model, and fit the whitenization response expressions with the Accumulated Generating Operation(AGO) series. Now,on the solution of Grey parameters,it changes from the problem of linear least-square into a nonlinear least-square problem. And then we solve grey parameters directly recur to the function of non-linear least-square method in MATLAB.This method effectively avoids the errors caused by the time interval unequal, the background value structured unreasonable, etc. In the application of seacoast evolution forecast, the forecast precision has been greatly enhanced.
