Wavelet dispersion removal of GPR signals by inverse Q filter
The strong attenuation of high frequency electromagnetic wave widens the radar wavelet and lowers its resolution.The attenuation of high frequency can be described by a specifically defined quality factor.The resolution was improved and the dispersion was removed by inverse Q filter designed by electromagnetic wave propagation equation.It has been proved that inverse filter has clear effect for removal dispersion and improving resolution by processing synthetic and real data.
