Improving high-resolution and removing random noise using technique of wavelet frequency-division in seismic data process
The wavelet transform has the characteristics of localized frequency-division.The stochasticity of the random noises and the correlation of effective signals are taken in consideration while doing the wavelet transform to remove the random noises and to improve the resolution of seismic data.The processed results show that the wavelet transform acts as the function of both the frequency and time,and can effectively suppress the random noises and improve the signal-to-noise ratio as well as the resolution of seismic data.
