Amplitude effects in phase velocity estimation from shot gather
To check the so-called structure phase velocity whether or not being applicable to MASW method,the present study followed the amplitude corrected method previously developed in seismological community.Numerical examples demonstrated that all of phase velocity profiles,regardless of whether they are estimated from whole wavefield or a single fundamental mode separated from shot gather by linear Radon transformation,are at least slightly improved after amplitude corrected.The results give us a hint that structure phase velocity may be a reasonable input data to inversion for near surface applications.
