Experimental Research on Purification of High-purity Rectorite
The purity of rectorite is only about 70% after preliminary mineral processing,which has limited its application.In this research,different pulp densities,different dispersants,different dispersing methods and purification flow sheets were used to purify rectorite.The results show that it is possible to obtain high pure rectorite clay with the purity above 90% and concentrate yield between 24.9% and 29.4% by the purification process with composite dispersants,stirred mill grinding dispersion and so on.The obtained high pure rectorite can be further used in rectorite nanocomposites.
