Study on the Production of Chromium (Ⅲ) Sulfate from Magnesium Chromite
The overall flow-sheet of producing chromium (Ⅲ) sulfate is described in this paper. The suitable conditions of each process such as sintering, leaching, aluminum removal, reduction, and decomposition conditions were experimentally studied. The results show it is reasonable to produce chromium (Ⅲ) sulfate with the flow-sheet pointed out in this research work. The final product is Cr2(SO4)3 solution contained 150~250g/L Cr.
