Assessment of sealed fire - a case study

摘要：

Mine fire is one of the most serious disasters.In China and abroad as a method of fire fighting,sealing the area including fire source is often used.After fire area sealed,its necessary to assess fire states,in order to assess fire-fighting effect of different measures used.The second purpose is to decide whether or not to open the sealed area.In the paper a sealed fire area was assessed.Different traditional fire indexes are used to assess the sealed fire area.Analysis of the results based on traditional fire indexes indicates their limitations in assessing sealed fire areas.The author brings forward a new method for assessing sealed fire areas and got reasonable conclusions.
