Identification of a Acidthiobacillus Species Separated from the Mixed Microbial Populations in Zijinshan Copper Mine Bio-heap Leaching Plant by the Methods of PCR-16S rRNA Gene Sequence Analysis

摘要：

A moderately thermophilic acidophiles strain had been isolated from the bio-heap leaching plant in Zijinshan Copper Mine, and the identification based on the PCR-16S rRNA gene sequence homology analysis with morphologic and physiologic methods was conducted by polyphasic taxonomy and phylogeny research. The results show that the strain by depurated belongs to Acidthiobacillus genus and is considered as Acidthiobacillus albertensis.
