A Cost-Benefit Analysis of Regulation on Securities Markets
Regulation on the securities market has to be examined on the basis of costs and benefits. Through a cost-benefit analysis, not all the regulations on the securities market are worthy of carrying out. Through expounding the costs and the benefits of regulation on the securities market, this paper analyzes the vital of regulation by government and also suggests it might be too difficult to clarify all the costs and benefits of regulation on the securities market. Four levels of evaluating this regulation are followed to illustrate the measurement of this abstract problem. The pattern concerned and concrete examples are also presented.
