The Study of the Instability of Strategic Alliance Based on Its Numbers Flexibility in Decision

摘要：

Instability of strategic alliance is an important aspect of the research about strategic alliances. This paper discussed the instability of strategic alliance under its numbers flexibility in decision and the uncertainty of the alliance benefit, and in particular, analyzed the condition and time of numbers to exit strategic alliance. With the developed model, it can be found that the stability of alliance would be promoted when the numbers flexibility in decision and the uncertainty of benefit increased; while the lack of their specific investments resulted in the alliances instability.
