Entropy Theory Analysis on College Knowledge Innovation and Evaluation of the Knowledge Innovation Capacity

In the 21st century, knowledge economy realizes the process of replacing the material resources with the intellectual resources, and it can greatly save effort and improve economic efficiency. Thus in the context of knowledge economy, the value of college existence is to be more effective and efficient with creation, transfer and transmission of knowledge. Colleges and Universities, in essence, are the entities of producing knowledge, and their unique stems are the difference of the knowledge innovation and use ability. In this paper, the basic theory about the similarity of natural science and social science which is overlapped or comprehended is used. Introduce of the basic entropy theory and its mechanism is made, and the key and the means of knowledge innovation are discussed for colleges and universities. This study points out that any college will be accompanied by the situation of gradual reduction of effective knowledge and gradual increase of entropy value. All the college must be constantly accompanied with knowledge innovation and transfer, in order to increase the negative entropy to promote its sustained and healthy development. At the same time, this research uses entropy method to evaluate the college knowledge innovation capacity.
