Research on the Application of Knowledge-Based ERP

Knowledge is an important resource to keep the continuous competitiveness and has strategic significance to the development of an enterprise. Survival in todays highly competitive and ever expanding global economy requires enterprises to import the knowledge management into ERP systems. The relationship between ERP system and knowledge management is discussed. The knowledge system is set up to support the application of ERP system. Through an interpretative case study, some approaches for integrating knowledge management and ERP are proposed, which are asserted to be able to improve organizational efficiency and flexibility.
