Study on Informal Finance in Rural Area of China

摘要：

This paper introduces the situation of Informal Finance in Rural Area of China. Based on the analysis of total amount measure and typical investigation, the paper points out the informal finance in rural area has obvious superiority, and partly resolved the problem of capital scarcity that is caused by the insufficient supply of formal finance. But the existence of exorbitant usury has some impacts on the development of rural economy and the stabilization of society. This paper indicates that the informal finance in rural area should be accepted and be operated in an ordered framework. Furthermore, the informal finance in rural area should be under the supervision of the government financial management institution.
