Intruducing IE Techniques into Agricutural-machinery-manufacturing Industry: a Case Study

摘要：

As a branch of current manufacturing system, Agricultural machinery manufacturing (AMM) industry experiences greater management challenges in new millennium. But a gap between AMM and general machinery manufacturing (GMM) industry has been taken place in the region of management. How to introduce IE concepts and techniques into AMM operation practices is discussed in this paper. A two-stage conceptual model is constructed and a case is illustrated to describe its process. The principle discussed in the paper will act as a starting point for AMM companies to think about how the IE techniques can be transferred into AMM practice and improve their performances efficiently.
