Research on Seawater Desalination Industry Chain Based on Material Flow Analysis
Seawater desalination industry, pointed out as the critical way to solve the water resources predicament in the economic and social development, is of importance to develop marine circulation economy in China. With a focus on the analysis of seawater desalination industry chain in China, the author adopts the method of material flow analysis to analyze the industry chain of seawater desalination and evaluates the efficiency of using resources and material consumption intensity. This paper, taking Beijiang Power Plant as an example, through establishing and analyzing relevant indices, draws its material flow chart, and then proposes solution strategies which are valuable references for the whole seawater desalination industry chain. Furthermore, some tactics to optimize the industry chain of seawater industry are put forward in this paper.
