Inventory Management Comparative Study Based on System Dynamics

摘要：

With the theories of System Dynamics and the modeling platform Vensim, the simulation models for Customer Managed Inventory (CMI) and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) in supply chain were made. The similarities and differences of the structure and operation mechanism were identified with comparison between the two models. By analyzing the operation of models and the simulation results, the factors for the success of the VMI operation were given.
