A Study on the Role of Core Enterprise in the Green Supply Chain

摘要：

The Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) takes environmental considerations into the account in supply chain management. The core enterprise of green supply chain (GSC) plays the most important role in the decision-making of SCM. Therefore, for successful GSCM implementation, it is of great significance to investigate the role of core enterprise in the respect of the total environmental performance of the supply chain. The paper establishes the game model for the core enterprise and non-core enterprises of the GSC, through analyzing the changes of their costs and profits respectively. The results indicate that core enterprises need to proactively implement GSCM and then further affect other enterprises in order to improve environmental performance.
