The Study of Third Party Logistics Evaluation Model Based on Principal Component and Fisher
The proper choice of third party logistics could enhance enterprise core competence, improve value-added service, reduce cost of logistics, and optimize enterprise resources. With the increasing demand of logistics outsouring, it is of critical importance for the success of enterprise outsourcing to choose an appropriate third party logistics vendor. Based on the construction of index system for evaluation and analysis of third party logistics ability, a new method is presented in this paper using the principal component analysis and fisher method. It attempts to overcome the shortcomings of the existing methods and contribute to the selection of third party logistics vendors. It has proved to be reliable and effective in practical application,and the analysis result could be regarded as one of main reference for decision making.
